This was a journal entry for my Writer's Craft course. We were to discuss what we thought of the education system.

Hm, before the government and/or school boards come attack me for all the possible messages they may see in this, let me just say this first:

- I've never met any teacher horrible enough to push their students off a cliff, literal or figurative;
- many teachers in high school do try their best to prepare you for university.

It's just that, all of our impressions of university as secondary students are "OMG it's so difficult" and "it's all lectures and no one checks up on you". That is entirely different from being looked after by concerned teachers. >< So, I guess what the comic means is that, university is too tough. xD Or maybe high schools and post-secondary institutions should work together and make the transition an easier, smoother transition.
